Description
Frances M Thiele’s original work ‘Steadfast’ is a highly expressive piece about enduring love – not the passion of young love – but the steadfast loyalty and faith of a love that continues throughout life into old age. Composed for solo lever harp, this piece moves through sections of quiet introspection and more intense drama to a resolution in coda using many idiomatic expressive harp techniques. ‘Steadfast’ is playable on a 34 string fully levered harp tuned in E flat major and is suitable for intermediate to advanced level harp players. Harmonics are notated where they are played.
