This is perhaps one of the grooviest Elvis tunes ever! Never Been To Spain was covered by the big guy in his 1972 Madison Square Garden concert. It sits in the same, down south vein as Polk Salad Annie and really features the power of the horns and vocalists as it kicks in. Hoyt Axton wrote and released the tune and it was a hit for Three Dog Night on their album Harmony.
